Abandoned

An abandoned building against a backdrop of woods caught my eye, so I pulled over to the side of the road and entered, gingerly stepping over broken glass and avoiding cobwebs that draped the doorways and windowsills. Sunlight streamed through a roof that had not been intact in years. I idly wondered if I was trespassing, but this place was so empty and forlorn I doubted anyone would mind.
